The water clock in Italy

In the Villa d'Este at Tivoli and the villas at Frascati, near Rome, the various disposals of water constituted an integral element of the garden composition.
This fountain is probably the first working example of a water organ using an aeolian chamber, to be built since 1750.
Worth a visit....
